WHAT KIND OF ENTERTAINERS DO YOU EMPLOY?
It takes a special type of entertainer to perform at a wedding. Our staff members are mature, professional, and have a vast
knowledge of all types of music. Wedding guests are a diverse mix of people of all ages and backgrounds therefore; a great
DJ/Entertainer is one who can mix styles with the right songs at the right time. Our wedding professionals will entertain your guests
but will NOT become the focus of your event!
WHO WILL BE MY DJ AFTER I BOOK WITH YOU?
The same guy you meet with prior to your reception! We do not practice the "bait and switch" program of meeting and
communicating for months with you, only to dispatch someone you've never met to your reception. This practice may be fine at a
high school prom or a corporate dinner dance, but not your wedding! We also do not "farm" business to other companies.
WHAT IS YOUR STANDING WITH CONSUMER AGENCIES SUCH AS THE BBB?
We have an "A" rating with The Better Business Bureau. American Bride provides stellar customer service, with no complaints ever
filed or reported to any consumer agency. We encourage everyone interested in booking a wedding professional to visit www.bbb.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
You may cancel within 10 days of signing an agreement with us for a full refund. Deposits from cancelled engagements may be
applied to future dates, up to 1 year from the original contracted date. You may also apply your deposit to any available date with
Showstopper Entertainment, our sister company.
HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT?
This depends on the plan you choose. Deposits range from $250.00 (Carmen's K.I.S.S. Plan) to $300.00 (Storybook Plan).
DO YOU OFFER LIGHTS?
We have several sophisticated lighting packages. Each package range in the amount of effects and size of the reception.

WILL I BE ABLE TO SEE YOU AT ANOTHER WEDDING?
Several publications and websites suggest that you see your entertainer(s) in action at another wedding. Many times this is difficult
to arrange, because most brides (and especially their parents) wouldn't dare allow spectators or "crashers" at their wedding. Even
with the suggestions of being discreet in the back or near an exit, the reality is someone is going to notice "strangers" lurking
around observing the event. If it can be arranged, we will allow observers at one of our events with the stipulation that the party
requesting to observe put in writing that they will allow the same courtesy at their event.
HOW MANY WEDDINGS CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE EACH WEEK WITH DJ ENTERTAINMENT?
Not more than 5. Our service demands that we dedicate 100% of our resources to each of our weddings. We can only do this
successfully by placing a cap on the number we agree to perform. Many of our competitors will overbook and subsequently "farm"
out events to other companies and non-professionals.
CAN YOU PROVIDE MUSIC FOR MY CEREMONY?
Yes, we have a Ceremony Package that includes a Wireless or Lapel Microphone for your Officiant and a discreet sound system
that will not appear in your wedding photos.
DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?
Yes, we accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Debit Cards and electronic checks on our secured site.
OTHER DJ/ENTERTAINMENT SERVICES DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS. WHY?
When you purchase goods or services using a credit card, you are guaranteed basic standards associated with that transaction.
Credit card purchases can be disputed when those standards fall below acceptable levels. Many companies can not guarantee a
level of acceptable service; therefore they do not accept credit cards.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes.
IS IT NECESSARY TO HAVE 2 DISC JOCKEYS AT A WEDDING?
Absolutely not! Some companies stress that an “assistant” DJ can survey the crowd and assist with organizing the formalities. If a
DJ needs assistance with surveying the audience and organizing the entrance and dances, then he/she should not be in our
industry.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO MAKE A DECISION TO BOOK BEFORE MY RESERVATION EXPIRES?
We allow 30 days from the mailing date of our information to you. If you need to extend time because you are comparing prices
and packages, a phone call or email notifying us of the request will extend the reservation date 15 additional days.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN BUSINESS?
19 years. The American Bride brand concept has been in effect for 5 years, the other 14 years we operated as New World
Entertainment.
MY RECEPTION LOCATION HAS REFERRED ANOTHER DJ COMPANY, WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT?
A few, but not all banquet facilities have unadvertised relationships with certain vendors that pay for each referral received. We do
not pay banquet facilities or any other vendor for referrals as this is highly unethical, and even illegal in several states.
WHAT IS NEW WORLD ENTERTAINMENT?
Our parent company, which also owns and operates Showstopper Entertainment, Cameron NewWorld Studios and Mobile Music
Alliance of Ohio.
HOW MANY DJ'S DO YOU HAVE?
We currently have 5 Wedding Disc Jockeys on our staff.
A RELATIVE/FRIEND HAS OFFERED TO DJ MY WEDDING, IS THIS A GOOD IDEA?
No. American Bride Entertainment is a 365 days a year operation with full liability insurance and backup equipment readily
available. The relationships we have with banquet facilities, photographers, and even other entertainment services, provide us with
resources that would be unmatched by any part-time individual.
WHERE IS AMERICAN BRIDE BASED?
American Bride Disc Jockey Service, Showstopper Entertainment and our parent company, Cameron New World are based out of
Chagrin Falls, Ohio. We also currently have an office south of Independence, Ohio and just outside of Richmond in Midlothian,
Virginia. The Virginia office is designated for future franchise expansion.
